Kingsway Hall Hotel - Central London

Natralight collaborated with contractor Ellmer Construction on the revamp of the four-star luxury Kingsway Hotel, based in Covent Garden, central London.

Our team was chosen to design, manufacture and install lean-to style rooflights with glass support beams on the underside.

Lean-to rooflight systems from Natralight are specifically designed to be made to measure using glass to glass joints.

Giving buildings a more contemporary style of glass roof, lean-to glazing is aesthetically pleasing from both the exterior and the interior.

Modernising Hospitality with Lean-To Rooflights

The Kingsway Hall Hotel is based just a stone's throw away from Theatreland, the Royal Opera House, the British Museum with its convenient location offering easy access to the city.

Plans were originally drawn up by new owners Shiva Hotels in 2014, with the new-look hotel, comprising of 180 bedrooms, and 12 suites opening earlier this year.

The Kingsway Hall Hotel has been rebranded as Middle Eight, a luxury lifestyle hotel, offering globally inspired menus in its restaurants, including Italian dishes at Sycamore Vino Cucina.

Middle Eight, Managing Director Rishi Sachdev commented,

"At Middle Eight we will choose to do things not because they are easy, nor because it's what everybody does. We will choose to do them because they represent our collective vision of what's right.

"We will inspire guests, teams, communities and partners to believe in and share our world view. We will challenge our competitors by disrupting the status quo and by offering our guests a genuinely new option - a conscious choice to experience luxury with purpose."

Transforming Every Type of Property

As you can see our lean-to glazing is not just ideal for domestic properties, it also fits well with commercial buildings.
